Mumbai – Ulaanbaatar (By Air) – Local Sightseeing
Departure to Ulaanbaatar by air, on arrival complete Immigration procedure and you will be warmly welcomed at the airport by our local team. Later proceed to hotel in Ulaanbaatar town (55 kms). After check in have some rest we will have city exploration with our guide including Sukhbaatar Square, the heart of the city, followed by a short walk to the newly opened Chinggis Khaan National Museum, a modern cultural landmark of Ulaanbaatar. Dinner in Bayangol Hotel or similar. Night stay at Ulaanbaatar. (Mongolia)

Chinggis Khaan Statue & Terelj National Park
After breakfast drive to the impressive Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue, the world’s largest horse-riding statue standing 40 meters high, where visitors can explore its museum, panoramic viewing deck, and learn about Mongolia’s legendary ruler. We then continue to the picturesque Terelj National Park, renowned for its stunning granite formations and lush valleys, where we enjoy lunch at a traditional Ger camp. In the afternoon, we explore the park’s highlights, including the famous Turtle Rock and the serene Aryapala Meditation Temple nestled in the mountains, offering sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. We also visit a local nomad family to learn about their traditional lifestyle, hospitality, and herding practices before returning to hotel. Dinner in Bayangol Hotel or similar. Khongoryn Els Sand Dunes
After breakfast, we head to Chinggis Khaan Airport for our flight to the Gobi Desert. Upon arrival in Dalanzadgad, the capital of Southgobi province, we drive to the spectacular Khongoryn Els Sand Dunes, often called the “Singing Dunes” for the unique sound they produce when the wind sweeps across their golden slopes, stretching over 100 kilometers in length. After checking in to our Ger Camp and enjoying lunch, we explore the area by hiking through the towering dunes, taking in breathtaking desert vistas. We then visit a local nomad family of camel breeders to learn about their way of life in the harsh yet beautiful desert environment, before experiencing a memorable camel ride under the guidance of a skilled camel herder. Dinner and Night stay at the Gobi Erdene Ger Camp. (Mongolia)

Yolyn Am Valley & Flaming Cliffs
After breakfast, we drive to Yolyn Am Valley, a dramatic gorge in the Gurvan Saikhan Mountains famous for its towering cliffs, narrow pathways, and a sheet of ice that can linger even in summer. We enjoy a scenic hike through the valley, where we might spot wildlife such as mountain sheep, ibex, and marmots amid the rugged beauty. After lunch at an enroute ger camp, we continue to the Flaming Cliffs, renowned for their striking red and orange hues that glow brilliantly at sunset and for being the site of groundbreaking dinosaur fossil discoveries by explorer Roy Chapman Andrews in the 1920s. Check in to the Ger Camp in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the Desert Ger Camp. Night stay at Gobi Naran Ger Camp. (Mongolia)

Flight back to Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, we drive to Dalanzadgad Airport to catch our return flight to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival we transfer to the hotel and after lunch enjoy afternoon free at leisure or explore the city at your own pace. In the evening, we enjoy a captivating Mongolian traditional folklore performance showcasing throat singing, graceful dances, incredible contortion acts, and the enchanting sounds of the horse headed fiddle. Dinner and overnight at Ulaanbaatar. Bayangol Hotel or similar. Night stay at Ulaanbaatar. (Mongolia)

Ulaanbaatar – Irkutsk (1100 kms by train) – Russia
After breakfast, we continue our city tour with a visit to Gandan Monastery, the spiritual heart of Mongolian Buddhism, home to the magnificent golden statue of Avalokiteshvara standing over 26 meters tall. We make ourselves time for shopping for handcrafts and fine cashmere pieces. After lunch at a restaurant in downtown, we proceed to the central railway station to board the train to Russia. A packed dinner, prepared at the same restaurant, will be provided for your journey. You will board the train, and this concludes the Mongolia tour. Overnight on the train Sleeper train.

Arrival in Irkutsk
After almost 24 hours of journey with breathtaking views arrival Irkutsk at 2.00 pm and proceed to hotel for check in. After some rest and fresh up we set out to explore the city, visiting a selection of its notable landmarks that showcase Irkutsk’s rich history and charm. In the evening, we enjoy dinner and Night stay at Irkutsk Baikal Forest Hotel. (Russia)

Irkutsk – Listvyanka – Irkutsk
After breakfast, we drive to the scenic village of Listvyanka, stopping en route to visit the Taltsy Museum of Architecture and Ethnography, an open-air museum showcasing traditional Siberian wooden architecture and culture. Upon arrival in Listvyanka, we have lunch at 13:00 before taking a cable car ride to Chersky Stone, where sweeping views of Lake Baikal and the surrounding mountains await. Later check in to the hotel. After fresh up enjoy an evening at leisure on the bank of Lake Baikal. Dinner and Night stay at Listvyanka, Krestovaya Pad Hotel or similar. (Russia)

Irkutsk – Olkhon Island
After breakfast, we drive to Olkhon Island, the largest island in Lake Baikal and a place of stunning natural beauty. We explore Khuzhir village and visit the sacred Shaman Rock, a revered site in local Buryat culture and one of Lake Baikal’s most iconic landmarks. Dinner and overnight at Khuzhir. Optional experience: enjoy a one-hour boat trip on Lake Baikal for 28 USD per person. Dinner & Night stay at Baikal Khan Hotel or similar. (Russia)

Olkhan Island – Irkutsk (300 kms) – Flight to Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast departure to Irkutsk. On arrival enjoy lunch and later enjoy some free time for local shopping in the lively 130 District, known for its beautifully restored historic buildings, shops, and cafés, where we enjoy sightseeing and a short excursion. After dinner, we transfer to the airport to catch our flight back to Ulaanbaatar, on arrival transfer to hotel. Evening free at leisure. Night stay at Ulaanbaatar. (Mongolia)
