DEPARTURE TO GUWAHATI (By Air) – NAGAON
Departure to Guwahati by Air and proceed to Nagaon (120 kms, 2.5 hrs.). On arrival Transfer to the hotel. In the evening visit Maha Mrityunjay temple in Nagaon. Night Stay at NAGAON. (ASSAM)

NAGAON – KOHIMA

After breakfast visit the 2nd World War Cemetery. After lunch proceed to Kisama Village (12 kms) the venue for Hornbill festival. Witness the opening ceremony of the Hornbill Festival and enjoy free time at the festival arena. Night Stay at KOHIMA. (NAGALAND)

After breakfast proceed to Kisama village, visit the World War II Museum in Kisama, just opposite the Hornbill venue and then enjoy the 2nd Day of the Hornbill Festival till evening. Night Stay at KOHIMA. (NAGALAND)

KOHIMA – JORHAT
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Jorhat (205 kms 6 hrs.). On arrival transfer to the hotel. In the evening visit Jorhat Bara bazar (if time permits). Night Stay at JORHAT. (ASSAM)

JORHAT – NIMATIGHAT – MAJULI ISLAND
After early breakfast departure to Nimati Ghat (18 kms, 30 mins) to board the ferry to Majuli Island (world’s biggest river island). On arrival at Kamalabari Ghat, proceed to visit different monasteries locally known as Satra. Mainly the Vaisnavaite Satra, the Auniati Satra – the largest satra of Majuli & the Uttar Kamlabari Satra, famous for Satriya dance. Transfer to the hotel. Later visit Samoguri Satra, a unique place for mask making art. Finally visit Mishing tribal village. Night stay at MAJULI. (ASSAM)

MAJULI – KAZIRANGA
After early breakfast proceed to Kamalabari Ghat to take return ferry at 8.00 am to reach Nimati Ghat and proceed to Kaziranga National Park (150 kms. 4 hrs), a UNESCO world heritage site famous for the one horned Rhino. Proceed for an afternoon Jeep Safari in the park. Evening free for shopping. Night stay at KAZIRANGA. (ASSAM)

KAZIRANGA – GUWAHATI
Enjoy an early morning Jeep Safari in the park. After breakfast check out and proceed to Guwahati (162 kms, 4 hrs). Transfer to the hotel. Evening free for shopping. Night stay at GUWAHATI. (ASSAM)
