CHANDIGARH – RAMPUR
After breakfast, begin your scenic drive toward Rampur, following winding roads along the Sutlej River. The winter landscape reveals terraced fields dusted with frost, pine forests shimmering with ice, and quaint Himachali homes with smoke curling from chimneys. Night stay at RAMPUR.

RAMPUR – KAZA
An early start takes you deeper into the Himalayas. Stop at Khab confluence of Sutlej and Spiti river. Continue to Tabo, settled amidst the stark winter desert. As you approach Kaza, the snow-clad mountains tower over the valleys, creating a postcard-perfect arrival. Night stay at KAZA.

Today’s short journey takes you to Kibber, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world at over 14,000 ft. Spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude. Wander through lanes lined with mud-brick homes, their flat roofs piled with stacks of firewood for the long winter, and watch the sun paint the peaks gold at sunset. Night stay at KIBBER.

- Winter Conditions in Spiti Valley
- Winter temperatures in Spiti can dip to -25°C. Suitable winter clothing and gear are strongly recommended. The local people of Spiti live here year-round without expensive high-tech wear—so there’s no need to worry.
- Homestays are well-insulated and equipped with traditional room heaters.
- In winter, homestays will have dry pit compost toilets. A camping toilet seat will be provided for convenience.
- Guests may be accommodated across separate homestays.

- Snow Leopards are among the rarest animals on Earth—sightings are not guaranteed, but our team will make every effort to maximize the chances.
