MUMBAI – REYKJAVIK
Arrival at Reykjavik International Airport. Upon arrival, complete immigration formalities and proceed to pick up your self-drive vehicles from the airport terminal. After completing the procedure, depart for your hotel and check in. After freshening up, the evening is free at leisure to explore nearby areas. Overnight stay in REYKJAVIK.

THE GOLDEN CIRCLE – HVOLSVÖLLUR
After breakfast, enjoy the famous Golden Circle tour. Visit Thingvellir National Park, known for its tectonic rift valley where the Eurasian and North American plates meet. In 930 AD, the world’s first democratic parliament was established here. Thingvellir was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. Continue to the Geysir geothermal area and witness Strokkur geyser erupting. Visit the stunning Gullfoss Waterfall and enjoy views from above or walk closer to feel its power. Enjoy a unique lunch experience at Friðheimar Greenhouse, where tomatoes are cultivated using geothermal energy. Later we can relax at the Secret Lagoon (optional).
In the evening, you may have the opportunity to witness the elusive Northern Lights from your hotel. Overnight stay in HVOLSVÖLLUR.

HVOLSVÖLLUR – SELJALANDSFOSS – SKÓGAFOSS – VIK – KLAUSTURHOF
After breakfast, continue along Iceland’s scenic south coast. Visit Seljalandsfoss waterfall (60 meters high), where you can walk behind the falls for a unique experience. Continue to Skógafoss, one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls. View Eyjafjallajökull volcano, famous for its 2010 eruption that disrupted European air traffic. Visit Plane wreck site.
Visit Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, ranked among the world’s most beautiful non-tropical beaches. En route, see Sólheimajökull glacier and stop at the charming village of Vík. Proceed to Klausturhof for hotel check-in. In the evening, another chance to spot the Northern Lights (weather permitting). Overnight stay in KLAUSTURHOF.

KLAUSTURHOF – JÖKULSÁRLÓN – HOFN
After breakfast, proceed to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, a breathtaking lagoon formed by a receding glacier. Enjoy views of floating icebergs and visit the nearby black sand shore, popularly known as Diamond Beach. Continue to Höfn, enjoying scenic landscapes en route
via Kalfafellsstadur. Check in to your hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in HOFN.

HOFN – DJÚPIVOGUR – EGILSSTAÐIR
After breakfast, drive through the scenic East Fjords, where mountains meet the ocean and remote fishing village’s dot the coastline. Enroute, admire the dramatic Vestrahorn Mountain and stop at Hvalnes Lighthouse for photographs. Visit Djúpivogur, part of the Cittaslow movement promoting sustainable and peaceful living. Continue to Egilsstaðir, the largest town in East Iceland, located on the shores of Lagarfljót Lake. According to local legend, a mysterious creature resides in its depths. Overnight stay in EGILSSTAÐIR.

EGILSSTAÐIR – MÝVATN – SKÚTUSTAÐIR – AKUREYRI
After breakfast, drive via Möðrudalsheiði towards Lake Mývatn. Visit Námaskarð geothermal area, known for bubbling mud pools, steam vents, and vibrant mineral deposits. Continue to Krafla volcano region. Explore Dimmuborgir lava formations, Skútustaðir pseudo craters, and Hverfjall volcanic crater. En route to Akureyri, stop at the beautiful Goðafoss waterfall. Check in to your hotel and enjoy free time to explore the town. In the evening, another opportunity to witness the Northern Lights. Overnight stay in AKUREYRI.

AKUREYRI – GLAUMBÆR – SNÆFELLSNES – REYKJANES – REYKJAVIK
After an early breakfast, begin the longest drive back to Reykjavik. Visit Glaumbær turf farm museum, showcasing traditional Icelandic living. Stop at Hvitserkur basalt rock formation, often compared to a dragon drinking from the sea. Continue to Kirkjufell, Iceland’s most photographed mountain, along with the nearby Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall. Visit Arnarstapi, a picturesque coastal village known for dramatic cliffs and birdlife. Proceed to Reykjanes Peninsula Geopark. Drive past Lake Kleifarvatn and visit the geothermal area of Seltún, known for bubbling mud pools and colourful mineral deposits. Later, relax at the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa (optional). Check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in REYKJAVIK.
