Excursion to Demilitarized Zone (03hrs both way)

Early morning, we will visit to Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) that stretches from Korean peninsula and is a buffer between North and South Korea. Originally the boundary between US and Soviet administration areas in World War II. It became the border between the North Korea and South Korea in 1948. Today it’s considered one of the most heavily guarded borders in the world. DMZ include Imjingak Park Freedom Bridge, the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel built by the North Korean Army, DMZ Exhibition Hall and Dora Observatory which offers a glimpse into North Korea. Back to Seoul and enjoy cable car ride to N–Seoul Tower situated on Namsan Mountain in the heart of Seoul. Night stay at Seoul.

Seoul – Andong (03hrs by KTX train) – Busan (160kms/02½hrs)

After breakfast, catch your KTX train for Andong. Upon arrival, visit UNESCO honored Andong Hahoe Folk Village on the Nakdong River. Explore the village’s narrow alleyways; Buyongdae Cliff is about 64 meters high, situated where the Taebaek Mountain Range ends, the Hahoe Mask Museum are traditional Korean masks worn in the Hahoe byeolsingut talnori ceremonies that date back to the 12th century. They represent the stock characters needed to perform the roles in the ritual dance dramas included in the ceremony. Night stay at Busan.

Busan

After breakfast, begin your day at the stunning Haedong Yonggungsa Temple on Busan’s rugged coastline. Next, head to Haeundae Blueline Park for a ride on the Haeundae Sky Capsule. Each brightly colored capsule is a retro–style car those seats four, traveling on an elevated railway over the coastline. It’s a memorable experience providing Spectacular Ocean, hills and city views. Post lunch, stroll along scenic Haeundae Beach and explore Dongbaek Island, a wooded island with beautiful nature trails. Night stay at Busan.

Busan – Gyeongju – Busan (90kms/1½hrs one–way)

After breakfast, visit Gyeongju the capital of the ancient Silla Kingdom (57 BCE to 935 CE). Today, it’s nicknamed the “museum without walls.” On arrival, hotel check–in & relax. Night stay at Gyeongju. Visit Bulguksa Temple UNESCO protected historic landmark is a fantastic example of Buddhist architecture from the Silla era. Then, visit Seokguram Grotto to see a monumental seated Buddha statue that dates to 751 A.D. Daereungwon Royal Tombs, Anapji Pond is an artificial pond, Cheomseongdae is an oldest surviving astronomical observatory in Asia. It is thought to have been built during the reign of Queen Seondeok (r. 632–647) of the Silla Dynasty for observation of the movements of heavenly bodies. Arrive in Busan. Hotel check–in & relax. Busan – Jeju Island (by air)

After breakfast, embark on a half–day tour of Busan by visiting to the vibrant Gamcheon Culture Village where you’ll admire colorful street art and indulge in sweet treats. Continue to the lively BIFF Square, sampling delicious street food like simmered rice cakes and mandu (dumplings). Some free time at Haeundae Traditional Market. Aboard flight for Jeju Island. This is a volcanic island, known for its natural beauty, unique cultural traditions and temperate climate. Upon arrival, hotel check–in & relax. Night stay at Jeju Island.

Jeju Island

After breakfast visit Bijarim Forest – an oasis of natural tranquility shaded by some of the island’s oldest evergreens. Here we enjoy a walk through the forest and admire the natural beauty. Later we proceed to visit Seongsan Iculbong Sunrise Peak – A UNESCO World Natural Heritage, which was formed around 100,000 years ago by an underwater eruption. Later visit Seongeup Folk Village – an authentic Korean Village. This traditional village offers a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the region. The well–preserved thatched–roof houses, stone walls, and narrow alleyways take you back in time, allowing you to experience the traditional way of life in Korea. Night stay at Jeju Island.

Jeju Island – Seoul (by air)

After breakfast, aboard flight for Seoul. On arrival, visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace built in 1395 where you’ll learn about the ancient Joseon Dynasty followed by visit to Bukchon Hanok Village located on a hilltop between Gyeongbokgung palaces. This wonderfully preserved traditional village allows you to imagine life in this urban environment more than 600 years ago. Insadong Alley historically it was the largest market for antiques and artwork in Korea, Cheonggyecheon Stream is a 10.9–kilometer–long stream and public space in downtown Seoul. Later, enjoy cable car ride to N–Seoul Tower situated on Namsan Mountain in the heart of Seoul. Night stay at Seoul.
