01
Mumbai – Vientiane
Departure to Vientiane from Mumbai International Airport. On arrival to Vientiane complete immigration process and you will be warmly welcomed by our local partners. Transfer to hotel. After fresh up we will explore Pha That Louang – the most important landmark of the city, the hidden charm of Vientiane. After dinner return to hotel. Overnight at the VIENTIANE.

Vientiane City Tour – Train Journey to Luang Prabang
After breakfast we will visit Vat Phra Keo – one of the most impressive and interesting temples in Vientiane; the Lao Arts Museum to explore wood carvings and paintings, learn about Lao products and shop for souvenirs. Later we travel to the famous Buddha Park – home to hundreds of Buddha statues and an enormous Buddha image which is 40m in length. Take your time to explore its unique statues with different size and shapes of human, Godheads and animals. After lunch transfer by EMU Train to Luang Prabang (2.15 hrs). On arrival to check in to the hotel and after fresh up departure for dinner in the city center. Overnight at LUANG PRABANG.

Luang Prabang City Tour - Kuang Si Waterfall
After breakfast we will visit Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre with displays of clothing, craft tools, religious & ritual objects related to various ethnic groups. Heuan Chan Heritage House, beautifully preserved traditional wooden house offering visitors a glimpse into Laotian history, culture, and architecture. Later visit Ock Pop Tok to see the weaving of Lao textiles. Later in the afternoon enjoy authentic Lao cuisine in a peaceful natural setting and countryside charm. After lunch we continue with our visit to the Bear Rescue Centre and on to the stunning Kuang Si Waterfall.
The falls cascade over many calcified tiers and down several hundred feet into a series of cool, turquoise pools. On the way we will visit the local village Ban Na Ouan home of The Hmong tribe and experience their living. Late evening we will take a Sunset cruise on Mekong River. Dinner & Return to hotel. Overnight at LUANG PRABANG.

Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves
After breakfast proceed for beautiful temples called Wat Xiengthong, Wat Visoun and then continue on to the former Royal Palace, a commanding structure in the center of town that until 1946 was the heart of the Lang Xang Kingdom. Today it is the National Museum, and its halls contain rare religious and cultural artefacts. Later visit Ban Xang Khong, where locals produce Saa paper which is world famous product of Laos. Visit to Ban Xanghai where the local rice wine is produced then continue to Ban Pak Ou and take a ferry to visit Pak Ou Caves, consisting of two large caverns, both repositories for thousands of Buddha images.
Later in the afternoon visit Phousii Hill to get a bird’s eye view of Mekong River and surrounding Luang Prabang town. After dinner return to hotel. Overnight at LUANG PRABANG.

Alms Giving Ceremony – Departure
An early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning alms – giving ritual to saffron clad monks (Tak Bath). This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving this procession. From there we continue to visit the local morning market to experience the local food sales. Return to hotel. After fresh up and breakfast proceed to airport to board flight to your hometown.
