WELCOME TO BAKU!
Departure to Baku, on arrival to Heydar Aliyev International Airport, complete immigration process and transfer to
the hotel. After fresh up enjoy evening City Tour that includes Highland Park, located in the heart of Baku and one
of the favorite leisure places of the local residents. It is regarded as one of the most beautiful parks of the capital
city for a long time. It gives a beautiful panoramic view of the city. Later visit Flag Square, This square located in
the center of the city is considered to be one of the highest flags in the world. The height of the flagpole is 162
Meters (526 feet), the total weight of the structure is 220 tons. After dinner return to hotel. Overnight at Baku

BAKU SIGHTSEEING
After leisurely breakfast Visit to the National Assembly- also transliterated as Milli Majlis, Flame Towers the tallest
skyscraper in Baku, enjoy walking through Baku Boulevard which stretches along a south-facing bay on the
Caspian Sea. Later proceed to Carpet Museum and Ferris wheel (Depends on weather). After that visit Nizami
Street and the famous “Fountain Square”. Our tour program will continue with Old City or Inner City which is the
historical core of Baku, The Old City is the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by walls. In December
2000, the Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location
in Azerbaijan to be classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Later visit the charming example of modern
architecture – The Heydar Aliyev Center – a 57,500 m2 building complex noted for its distinctive architecture and
flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of
Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003.

ATESHGAH (FIRE WORSHIPPERS TEMPLE) – FIRE MOUNTAIN
After breakfast visit to Ateshgah (Fire Worshippers Temple) Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple
was used as a Hindu and Zorastrian place of worship. “Atash” is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal
complex, which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, was built
during the 17th and 18th centuries. It was abandoned in the late 19th century, probably due to the dwindling of
the Indian population in the area. The natural "eternal flame" went out in 1969, after nearly a century of
exploitation of petroleum and gas in the area, but is now lit by gas piped from the nearby city. Later visit Fire
Mountain – "Yanardag" on Absheron peninsula. Literally, the word "Yanardag" means "Blazing Mountain". Blazing
bodies of flame dance on stones and floor of the mountain. Later in the evening enjoy shopping in the Ganjilik
Mall. After dinner return to hotel. Overnight at Baku

TUFANDAG- GABALA – YEDDJ GOZEL FALLS - NOHUR LAKE
After leisurely breakfast full day Gabala tour (225 kms, 3 hours), Gabala is situated on the north-west of
Azerbaijan. On arrival start the tour to Tufandag, the Winter-Summer Tourism Complex that offers cable car rides
at any time of the year, skiing on the ski tracks of different difficulty level, ski training and ski school. On the top of
the mountain, you will enjoy panoramic view. Later visit Yeddi Gozel Falls located in the city of Gabala. It is one of
the most popular tourist destinations in the city, and the highest waterfalls in the country. Here, water from
different valleys forms a seven-stage waterfall though you can only see two small waterfalls below. The other 5
waterfalls can be seen after a short trek that may need some physical activity. Later visit Nohur Lake near the
Yeddj Gozel Falls. Nohur lake is the most popular tourist attraction in Gabala and one can spend some leisure
time on the banks of this beautiful lake & travel back to Baku. After dinner return to hotel. Overnight at Baku

GOBUSTAN TOUR – FLY TO ALMATY
After leisurely breakfast proceed for Gobustan. Gobustan is very rich archaeological monument. The reserve has
more than 6,000 rock engravings dating back between 5,000 – 40,000 years. The site also features the remains
of inhabited caves, settlements and burials, all reflecting an intensive human use by the inhabitants of the area
during the wet period that followed the last Ice Age. Gobustan was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site
considered to be of "outstanding universal value" for the quality and density of its rock art engravings, for the
substantial evidence the collection of rock art images of hunting, fauna, flora and lifestyles in pre-historic times
that the site reflects. Later in the evening enjoy early dinner and departure to Heydar Aliyev International Airport
to fly to Almaty. On arrival after Immigration & Customs procedures proceed to hotel. Overnight at Almaty.

BAKU - ALMATY – ARBAT STREET
After breakfast late departure for the local sightseeing of Almaty. Start with happening place of Almaty Arbat
Street. Its Almaty’s main shopping street which is spread from Abylaikhan Avenue to Furmanov Street and is best
explored on foot. While walking around, one can see the diversity of shopping in the area. While the street boasts
of high branded shops like Mango and Zara, you can also find small and quaint shops and some souvenir shops
around. After dinner return to hotel. Overnight at Baku

FUN IN SHYMBULAK - RAKHAT CHOCOLATE FACTORY- SHOPPING
After breakfast visit Shymbulak. The ski slopes are served by Gondola cars from “Medeu” to the base of
Shymbulak at 7200 feet. This Gondola is the world’s third-longest Gondola with a length of 4.5 km. The Ski resort
has six lifts that service the mountains. The lift system will take you to Talgar pass where you are at 10400 feet. A
vertical rise of 2900 feet. The majestic mountain view with snowy slopes and evergreen Tien Shan are
spectacular. Enjoy leisure time at the top of the mountain. Enjoy lunch at an Indian Restaurant. On the way back
to Almaty take an exciting stopover at the Rakhat Chocolate shop. Rakhat which means pleasure in Kazakh is the
oldest manufacturer of chocolates dating back to almost 70 years. Around 3500 workers work in 2 factories. They
also make chocolates for people suffering from diabetes and their low-calorie products like candies, cookies and
waffles are a rage among the locals and tourists. Later, if time permits, we will enjoy shopping in Almaty market.
After dinner return to hotel. Overnight at Almaty

BOTANICAL GARDEN - PANFILOV PARK & ZENKOV CATHEDRAL - KOK TOBE TOUR
After breakfast, we will visit the "Botanical gardens" which occupy an area of 108 hectares. Set against the
backdrop of the Alatau range, The Botanical Garden in Almaty features vast open spaces with pine groves,
hundreds of varieties of roses, and dozens of peonies, tulips, lilacs, and asters. A number of benches and a few
footbridges make the garden a good spot for a picnic, while its spacious area includes well-maintained lanes for
hiking and cycling.
Later visit Panfilov Park. It is Almaty’s most popular strolling and picnic place for people of all ages. The Park is
named and dedicated to the Panfilov Heroes who were 28 soldiers of an Almaty Infantry. Their memories are
etched at the war memorial east of the Zenkov Cathedral which depict soldiers from all 15 Soviet republics on the
map of USSR. Zenkov Cathedral is one of the most beautiful, magnificent, architectural monuments of the city of
Almaty.
Later after lunch at an Indian Restaurant we will visit Kok Tobe the highest point in the city of Almaty standing on
a 3500 feet hill at the south-east edge of the city. KokTobe offers panoramic view of the city from all directions.
Enjoy a cable car ride up to KokTobe which goes over some of the oldest parts of Almaty and the magnificent fruit
growing gardens. Once you reach the Kok Tobe hill, you will see the famous 1100 feet high TV Tower which is
visible from afar. KokTobe offers great views of the mountains and the city. Later enjoy free time for shopping in
Almaty. After dinner return to hotel. Overnight at Almaty

DAY TRIP TO VISIT KOLSAI LAKE - CHARYN CANYON
After breakfast departure to Kolsai Lake located around 12km by paved road from Saty village, these three
spruce-and-mountain-hemmed lakes are Alpine beauty at its best and a Kazakhstan highlight. As you hike
between the lakes, graze on wild strawberries and raspberries in summer and take frigid dips in the clear waters.
After lunch we will visit Charyn Canyon, located in the Charyn National Park about 215km (3 hours) away.
Though it is much smaller than the Grand Canyon, it has been described as being equally impressive. The vista
of dramatic erosion made by the river Charyn below and the elements has created a remarkable landscape. The
Canyon itself is approximately 150 km long, and, in places up to 300 meters deep. One area of particular interest,
is an area of 2km called the Valley of Castles, so called due to the pillars and rock structures forming some
imposing shapes and figures. We return to Almaty after this exciting trip. After dinner return to hotel. Overnight at
Almaty.
