After breakfast departure to Belgrade (380 kms, 5 hrs). On arrival transfer to hotel and after fresh up enjoy orientation tour of Belgrade including Parliament building, Republic Square, National Theatre and Knez Mihailo Street. After dinner return to hotel. Night stay at BELGRADE.

BELGRADE SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast departure for guided city tour start with Kalemegdon Fortress also known as Belgrade Fort built in 279 BC. It consists of the old citadel and Kalemegdan Park on the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, in an urban area of modern Belgrade. After lunch visit National Museum, St. Sava Cathedral, Josip Broz Tito Memorial Center – Museum of Yugoslavia. Evening is free at leisure to explore the town on your own. Night stay at BELGRADE.

BELGRADE – SKOPJE (NORTH MACED0NIA)

After breakfast departure to Skopje (430 KMS- 5 hrs). Proceed to the International border of North Macedonia and after Immigration process continue journey towards Skopje. On arrival check in to the hotel and after fresh up visit Matka Lake and enjoy Boat Ride up to the Vrelo (Bat) Cave which is one of the deepest underwater cave in Europe. Return to the town and after Dinner return to the hotel. Night stay at SKOPJE.

Day 05: SKOPJE – PRISTINA, (KOSOVO) – SKOPJE

After breakfast departure to Pristina (90 kms) in the small country Kosovo. On arrival enjoy guided orientation tour of Pristina including new born Monument, Mother Teresa Cathedral, Fatih Mosque, Skanderbeg statue, Clock Tower, Carshia Mosque and Ulpiana Roman (Justiniana Secunda) Arch site. After lunch return to Skopje (90 kms) followed by Guided orientation tour of Skopje including The Stone Bridge, Macedonia Square, Mustafa Pasha Mosque, Skopje Aqueduct, Art Bridge and Memorial House of Mother Teresa. Free time at leisure. Night stay at SKOPJE.

SKOPJE – SOFIA (BULGARIA)

After breakfast departure to Sofia in Bulgaria (240 kms), On arrival enjoy a guided orientation tour of Sofia including Cathedral Saint Alexander Nevski, Saint Sofia Church, Ivan Vazov National Theatre, Central Sofia Synagogue and The Rotunda of St George. SOFIA – RILA MONASTERY – SOFIA

After breakfast departure for guided tour of Rila Monastery (110 kms) It’s the largest and most famous Eastern Orthodox monastery in Bulgaria. It is situated in the south-western Rila Mountains in the deep valley of the Rilska River at the elevation of 3,700 ft above sea level. This Monastery is surrounded by beautiful Nature Park and Forest Nature Reserve. Built between 876 to 946 AD, Rila Monastery is regarded as one of Bulgaria’s most important cultural, historical and architectural monuments and is a key tourist attraction for both Bulgaria and Southern Europe. On the way back visit Boyana Church. It is a medieval Bulgarian Orthodox church and UNESCO World Heritage Site situated on the outskirts of Sofia in the Boyana quarter. Return to hotel and enjoy some leisure time. Night stay at SOFIA.

SOFIA – BACHOVO – PLOVDIV

After breakfast departure to Bachovo (170 kms), on the way, visit the Bachovo Monastery, a major Eastern Orthodox monastery in Southern Bulgaria. It is located on the right bank of the Chepelare River. The monastery was founded in 1083 by Prince Gregory Pakourianos, although the monastery survived the first waves of Turkish invasion in Bulgarian lands, it was then looted and destroyed, but restored near the end of the 15th century. The refectory, whose mural paintings by an anonymous painter bear a significant artistic value, was reconstructed in 1601 and the Church of Mary, still preserved today, was finished in 1604. Continue to Plovdiv (26 kms). Enjoy a guided orientation tour of Plovdiv town including Old town, Jhumaya mosque, Roman Amphitheatre, Ancient Stadium of Philipopolis, the ancient chemists, the Armenian House. Check in to the hotel. Night stay at PLOVDIV.

PLOVDIV – KAZANLAK – SHIPKA – ETARAT – ARBANASSI – VELIKO TARNOVO

After breakfast departure to Kazanlak. (105 kms) to visit Thracian Tomb Replica, a 4th Century BC monument and UNESCO protected World Heritage Site. Lunch at International Restaurant and proceed to Shipka (13 kms). On arrival visit Shipka Monastery, also known as the Memorial Temple of the Birth of Christ, a Russian style monastery built in 17th Century. There is a 53-meter bell tower with 17 bells, including one weighing 1,643 kg. Later proceed to Etarat (30 kms). And enjoy a short walk around the Traditional village. Proceed to Arbanassi (58 kms), on arrival visit Nativity Church, This is the earliest and the most richly decorated church in the village of Arbanasi. One of the most interesting scenes is the genealogical tree of Jesus Christ with the twelve ancient philosophers. “The wheel of life” is the most impressive wall-painting in the gallery of the church. This is the earliest presentation of the scene on the walls of Bulgarian churches. After full day of sightseeing check in to the hotel in Tarnovo. Night stay at VELIKO TARNOVO.

VELIKO TARNOVO – BASARBOVO – BUCHAREST

After breakfast take an orientation tour of beautiful town of Veliko Tarnovo including Tsarevets Castle, It’s a medieval stronghold located on a Veliko Tarnovo hill. It served as the Second Bulgarian Empire’s primary fortress and strongest bulwark between 1185 and 1393, housing the royal and the patriarchal palaces, and it is also a popular tourist attraction. Proceed to Basarbovo. (100 kms). On arrival visit Basarbovo Monastery. The Monastery of Saint Dimitar Basarbowski – is a Bulgarian Orthodox cave monastery in Basarbovo village on the bank of river Rusenski Lom. Enroute complete immigration process on the border of Bulgaria & Romania and proceed to Bucharest (83 kms). On arrival check in to the hotel. After fresh up enjoy guided orientation tour of Bucharest covering View of Stavropoleos Church, Palace of Parliament, Arch of Triumph, Victory Avenue, Palace of Justice, National Bank building and CEC Palace. Night stay in BUCHAREST.

BUCHAREST – DRACULA’S CASTLE & PELES CASTLES – BUCHAREST

After early breakfast departure to Bran (180 kms). On arrival visit Dracula’s castle, also known as Bran Castle. This castle was built by Saxons in 1377 who were given the privilege by Louis I of Hungary. It is a national monument and landmark in Transylvania. Later proceed to visit the Peles castle in Sinaia (50 kms), a Former home of the Royal family of Romania, it is recognized as a masterpiece of German neo-Renaissance architecture. Return to Bucharest (140 kms). Night stay in BUCHAREST .
