MUMBAI – BAKU (AZERBAIJAN)

On arrival complete Immigration and customs formalities and transfer to the hotel. After fresh up we start our sightseeing of the tour with a visit to Freedom Square, explore some leisure time on Baku Boulevard at nicely designed parks and fountains. Visit Aznet Square and Mini Venice, where you can experience little replica of Venice Gondola. Later visit unique design of Carpet Museum building (from outside) followed by Daniz Mall. Later in the evening around sunset time visit Highland Park-Alley of Martyrs, The National Assembly, also known as Milli Majlis followed by Flame towers- the tallest skyscraper and iconic building of Baku. We will get panoramic view of Baku Boulevard which stretches along a south-facing bay on the Caspian Sea. On the way back visit Baku Crystal (from outside). After Dinner at Indian Restaurant, Hall at night. Night stay in BAKU. (AZERBAIJAN)

BAKU SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast departure to visit Ateshgah (Fire Worshippers Temple). Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship. “Atash» is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex, which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries. Later proceed to Fire Mountain, Yanardag, and a mountain on Absheron peninsula. Literally, “Yanardag” means “Blazing Mountain”. Blazing bodies of flame dance on stones and floor. Yanardag is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside, which itself is known as the “land of fire.” After lunch visit Qobustan which is best known for being the home to the famous rock petroglyphs. It is known for hosting thousands of rock engravings spread over 100 square km depicting hunting scenes, people, ships, constellations and animals. Later we will proceed to Mud Volcano, located in the Gobustan National Park which are a fascinating natural wonder. The park is home to nearly 300 mud volcanoes, which create an otherworldly landscape and attract thousands of visitors each year seeking to witness this unique geological phenomenon. Return to hotel. BAKU SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast our tour will start with charming example of modern architecture, The Heydar Aliyev Center designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003. Later visit the Museum of Miniature Books as also Old City or Inner City is the historical core of Baku. The Old City is the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by well protected walls. Our local guide will take us on walking tour through the streets of old city including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, which became the first site in Azerbaijan to be classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (walking tour). Later we will explore the most happening street of Baku, Nizami Street known for its hustle bustle. The street’s history could be traced back to Baku’s town-planning project of 1864. Evening free at leisure to explore shopping in the city center. After dinner return to hotel. Night stay at BAKU. (AZERBAIJAN)

BAKU – TBILISI (BY AIR) – TBILISI SIGHTSEEING (GEORGIA)

After breakfast departure to Tbilisi by Air, on arrival after immigration process proceed to hotel and check in. After lunch join our local guide for a tour, which includes The Chronicles of Georgia, a monument located on Keeni Hill near the Tbilisi Sea. It was created by sculptor Zurab Tsereteli in 1985 but was never fully finished. It overlooks the northern part of the city from different directions. There are 16 pillars that are between 30–35 meters tall and the top half features kings, queens, and heroes while the bottom part depicts stories from the life of Christ. Later proceed to Sameba Cathedral also known as The Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi. It’s the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church constructed between 1995 and 2004, and one of the largest religious buildings in the world by total area. Evening free to roam around Tbilisi Old Town. Dinner at local restaurant. Night stay in TBILISI. (GEORGIA)

TBILISI CITY TOUR - MTSKHETA TOUR

After breakfast, visit the beautiful and lively capital of Georgia – Tbilisi. Our city tour starts at the, from where we can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire old town. We will also delight in a cable car ride from Rike Park to the Narikala Fortress, and finally, we will visit the Sulphur baths in Firtel, with their beautiful colorful mosaics and brick domes. After lunch at local restaurant proceed to Georgia’s ancient capital, Mtskheta. Here we will visit two of the most important sacred places, Jvari Monastery (6th century), where we can take in a fabulous view, then Svetiskhoveli Cathedral built from greenish stones (11th century). ANANURI COMPLEX – STEPANTSMINDA – GERGETY TRINITY CHURCH

After breakfast, we will proceed to the Ananuri Complex (17th century), which overlooks Zhinvali Reservoir, and view the carved facades of its main church. Stepantsminda, also known as Kasbegi, is a picturesque town in Georgia, located near the Russian border, named after the famous writer Alexander Kasbeg, later we enjoy driving with off–road vehicles from Stepantsminda to the Gergeti Trinity Church. TBILISI – YEREVAN (ARMENIA) (by road, 280 kms, 5.30 hrs)

After breakfast departure to Yerevan road. On the way we will complete Immigration process on Georgia – Armenia border, and continue journey from the Bagratashen border to Haghpat Monastery, (10th century). It’s one of the most prominent spiritual and cultural centers of Armenia. Later, visit Dilijan to enjoy its natural and architectural monuments, the mountains and the forests surrounding the city. Proceed to Yerevan by a scenic drive along the Lake Sevan, the pearl of Armenia. Dinner at Indian restaurant. Night stay in YEREVAN. (ARMENIA)

YEREVAN SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, enjoy full day Yerevan city tour that includes a panoramic view of Opera House, the magnificent scenery of the two–ice capped biblical Mount Ararat, Swan Lake, Northern Avenue and Republic Square which is considered one of the most amazing and famous places of the capital. Visit Vernissage outdoor flea market. Lunch at local restaurant. GARNI TEMPLE – GEGHARD MONASTERY – AZAT VALLEY

After breakfast visit Garni village, famous for its Hellenistic pagan temple of the 1st century. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch visit Geghard Monastery (4th century A.D and an UNESCO World Heritage site) the complex of medieval buildings is set into a landscape of great natural beauty, surrounded by towering cliffs at the entrance to the Azat Valley. The spot is very popular among the locals for the baptism ceremonies and weddings so very often you could be an ad hoc participant in the traditional events when visiting the site.
